• Your instructors are fantastic! Knowledgeable, welcoming, accommodating, personable, etc. I haven’t had a bad experience with any instructor working there. There’s something to be said about both sweating your ass off but having a chuckle in there once in awhile. When I first came to Yoga Garden, I was puzzled by the mixing of “All-Levels classes” and wondered why there weren’t regular “beginner” classes (aside from the periodic, beginner series). But now I understand that a person’s practice is so individualized; it doesn’t matter what the person next to me is doing, how flexible he/she is, etc., the point is to focus on YOUR practice. Knowing that now, I love the idea of all-levels. It takes a lot of focus and being present NOT to do what someone else is doing, and what better way to introduce that aspect of yoga than to have all-levels classes. I think it’s a brilliant idea. Thanks for proving me wrong! 🙂
I love the available times of classes; fitting into something that works for everyone. Not only that, but I like the variety here at Yoga Garden. Although I’m a beginner and haven’t attended any yet, I have noticed the different workshops available to students. I think that’s a great idea; to keep people fresh and get them trying new limits.
The space is clean, modest, yet inviting. The lighting is wonderful! No fluorescent bulbs here (thank you!).
But really, the instructors make the place. I’m very happy to be here. 🙂 – Yoga Garden Philadelphia (on South St.)
