who we are
We love yoga and we love sharing.
We are teachers and life-long learners.
We strive for wellness and balance just like you do.
We live life as fully as we can.
We cultivate community.
We dream, we learn, we question and explore.
We are inspired by people who pursue their goals,
We will always meet you right where you are,
And we believe in where you can go.
time and space to be you
this is your yoga
Picture yourself. As yourself.
Then allow that self to shine.
You will always be a work in progress.
Balance will always take work.
Energy is limitless.
Peace is powerful.
Hope is stronger than fear.
Effort brings out the best in us.
Kindness is contagious.
Bliss is already inside you.
Do something fun every day.
Do something challenging every day.
Dream big, then dream bigger.
Lose yourself to find yourself.
See the beauty first.
Laugh like your five-year-old self.
Create calm through sweat.
You are your own best teacher.
Wisdom has no age.
Breathe. Sweat. Smile. A lot.
Be kind.
Be strong.
Be you.
That’s what we do.
We encourage you to be who you are and who you can be.
Just as we do that for ourselves.
We all deserve to shine!

meet the director
Mark was first drawn to yoga as a way of bringing balance to a busy career as a creative director. He soon discovered that it was transforming his mind as well as his body.
That combination of mindfulness and movement drew Mark deeper into the practice, studying Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga and Yin Yoga along with the philosophy and anatomy that inform these practices. Mark completed his 200-hr. teacher training at Wake Up Yoga in Philadelphia, and his 500-hr. training through the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA. Since beginning his teaching career in 2008, Mark has taught well over 10,000 hours of classes, led hundreds of workshops in the US and abroad, and has directed more than a dozen teacher trainings.
As a life-long artist, Mark hopes to spark the creative process within his students. His classes unite breath with movement in a dynamic blend of physical challenge, inner focus and real-life philosophy. Mark has operated the Yoga Garden since 2010 and enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active and pursuing creative endeavors of all sorts.
